At PB Adjusting, we spend a lot of time helping homeowners through difficult moments — storm damage, water losses, fires, and everything in between. But for me personally, being part of this community means showing up before and after those moments, too.
That’s why I was proud to join an incredible group of local business owners, friends, and partners for a volunteer day at the United Way of Bucks County HELP Center in Bristol.
And honestly… it turned into something bigger than we expected.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves
On Thursday, March 5th, we gathered at the HELP Center ready to get to work.
About 25 volunteers showed up, representing businesses and organizations across Bucks County. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a slow afternoon.
Under the direction of the United Way team — shout out to Blaire and Ryan — we jumped right into it.
Boxes were coming in, pallets were moving, shelves needed to be stocked, and there was a lot of ground to cover.
Teams spread out across the warehouse and storefront to:
- Unload donated goods
- Sort and organize supplies
- Build pallets for storage and distribution
- Restock the HELP Center storefront for families in need
By the end of the afternoon, we had boxed, organized, and moved more than five full pallets of donated items.
It was a lot of lifting, stacking, sorting, and teamwork — but every single item will help a local family who needs it.
That’s what makes it worth it.
Why This Matters
In my line of work as a public adjuster, I often meet people on one of the hardest days they’ve had as homeowners.
Storm damage. Water losses. Fires. Unexpected events that disrupt their lives.
Helping families rebuild after those moments is what we do at PB Adjusting. But community support doesn’t only happen during insurance claims — it happens through organizations like the United Way that help people before problems become disasters.
Seeing local businesses come together to support that mission reminds me why I love working in this area.
This community shows up for each other.
The People Who Made It Happen
One of the best parts of the day was seeing how many people stepped up.
This event brought together business owners, community leaders, friends, and partners from across our network.

The Best Way to End a Volunteer Day
After a few hours of lifting, sorting, and stacking… the crew did what any good volunteer group would do.
We grabbed tacos and spent some time catching up.
Because the truth is, days like this aren’t just about the work. They’re about the relationships, the teamwork, and the reminder that a lot of good can happen when people show up together.
Looking Ahead
Volunteer days like this happen quarterly, and if this one proved anything, it’s that they keep growing.
More volunteers. More impact. More support for families right here in Bucks County.
At PB Adjusting, we’re proud to be part of that.
Because helping people rebuild after property damage is what we do professionally — but helping our community thrive is something we’ll always make time for.
